Coinciding with the 25-year anniversary of their memorable debut album 3 Feet High & Rising, De La Soul are back as promised with the release of a brand new project. The New York outfit provide a familiar delivery of lyrics on their Smell The DA.I.S.Y. mixtape, which takes place above vintage production from the late J Dilla from top to bottom, with the release dedicated to the brilliant career of the Detroit beatmaker.
