By the end of 2014, one of the biggest artists turned out to be Long Beach’s Vince Staples, who managed to release both a mixtape and EP. The Def Jam rapper recently sat down with Life+Times for their Decoded series, and he chose to break down “Screen Door” from Hell Can Wait. Along with rapping each line, he explained how the concept is based on growing up around his father’s actions and keeping secrets from his mother.
