Diamond D was the next artist featured on one of our favorite series on the web, FUSE’s “Crate Diggers.” In this clip, the boogie down’s original Diggin’ in the Crates Crew member shows off his wall signature form multiple emcees including Big L, Common and Brand Nubian all part of the his wall.
He then goes into talking about his first introduction into hip-hip from Grand Wizard Theodore and Afrika Bambaataa and wanting to collection vinyl’s at the tender age of 11. Diamond D proceeded on to say he initially wasn’t interested in the emcee aspect of hip-hop but more so the beats as he goes through his favorite breakbeat records and shows a glimpse to the public of his collection.
