DJ Akademiks Exposes The One Major Thing He’s Not Guilty of & Why Younger Rappers Are Quiet

clout vs. reality | no one is untouchable

In the era of the social media age, the genre of rap has been plagued with clout chasing. Unfortunately, your actual music making ability and rhyme skills haven’t mattered for quite some time. However, the art of trolling is fading away, with artists and labels growing a concernment with the direction music is heading (meaning you’ll actually be required to have talent).

Thankfully, we have some people that are smartening up and realizing the dangers trolling has done. With rappers having an all-time high of deaths this year, we’re not sure if the youth is even scared of pursuing the most dangerous job in the world.

So, with that being that, it’s imperative for people in power to start making change with how they present content and media for the masses. Last weekend, DJ Akademiks joined Club House and was immediately met with disdain; then resentment from key music industry people.

From his attachment with 6ix9ine, which literally burned every bridge this year; we’re still wondering why he thought going on CH was a good idea. In the midst of defending himself from the infamous Chicago series, he did point out one major thing we knew that was happening the entire time.

Ak went to say, that rappers were sending him media footage of violent acts in hopes of being posted on his platform for clout. With the exception of 6ix9ine’s footage he uploaded of Shotti robbing a person in Manhattan (also used in Tr3yway trial), Lil Ak has shied away from being directly connected to those situations.

While adding fuel to the fire, he’s completely guilty of speeding up situations in Chicago. This is why he’s donating money back to the city to help those in need; because his conscious isn’t clear. So, for not breaking stories online with footage that has rappers getting shot or beat up; he’s at least innocent of that.
