After taking over the hip-hop game with ill production that made its way on to critically acclaimed efforts like that of Kendrick Lamar, Drake, and most recently, Dr. Dre‘s Compton, DJ Dahi is switching things up on the solo tip. Instead of releasing an instrumental that any rapper could rap over, he’s chosen to take things down the EDM path on “Drop.”
For the video, we can see a very passionate fencing player, who let’s his emotions get the best of him at practice. Things get tense for match day and as time is winding down, it ends on a cliffhanger because it almost seems like he lost the match.
