Earlier today, DJ Drama stopped by The Breakfast Club to promote his new album, Quality Street Music 2. With Charlamagne tha God hilariously instigating the previous feud between DJ Envy and Drama, he went to focus conversation on discussing his history in the game – including the unfortunate ten-year anniversary of his mixtape raid, which changed the landscape of music.
He soon touched on receiving support from Young Jeezy, Gucci Mane, Lil Wayne & T.I.P. among other artists, as the main ones who didn’t turn their back on him in his darkest hour. Speaking of which, he went to tease his next Dedication mixtape with Lil Wayne, but said listeners can likely expect it around the time of Tha Carter V’s release (hopefully Birdman makes it happen).
