Remember when rappers didn’t think they were too cool and more down to earth enough to shoot mini-films and movies? It looks as if though DJ Khaled is getting back to the essence with a new mini-film entitled “No New Friends.”
The movie, in anticipation of his Suffering From Success album, stars his W.T.B.M.G. artist Ace Hood, Mavado, Vado and even the homie Johnny Nunez —doing his snapshot thing— to ready the streets for his 2013 takeover. We also see special cameos from Timbaland in the studio wilding out and Drake in the club.
Look out for DJ Khaled’s Boi-1da produced single “No New Friends” featuring Drake and Rick Ross to impact online and the radio starting tomorrow.
