In this sit-down with KarmaloopTV, DJ Paul of Three 6 Mafia discusses a near death experience at the Super Bowl in Atlanta heading to Pimp C’s house to record UGK’s first major single “Sippin On Sizzurp.” When the late Pimp C was in prison a few years later, he heard DJ Paul’s mix of the classic Project Pat track “I Choose You,” and wanted to hop on the beat when his prison bid was over to return the favor with the rest being history.
