DJ Premier might be a staple in Hip-Hop production, but he’s stepping out a bit and creating a band, which he’s already performed live with overseas. In the midst of their tour across Europe, Primo and The BADDER have released a video for “BPATTER,” a single that may surprise you. The track carries those signature Premier scratches as well as hard drums, but it also comes equipped with horns, a bass and all the components of an actual band.
The BADDER consists of bass man Brady Watt, Lenny “The Ox” Reece on drums and horn players Takuya Karoda & Mark Williams. Check it out and let us know what you think.
