Free Young Buck!
With Young Buck reportedly set to serve the next 7 months in prison for a parole violation, DJ Whoo Kid has gone into the archives this summer to come across some previously unreleased content from G-Unit. Over the weekend, he confirmed that he was releasing the Lost Flash Drive mixtape next week, which we’re assuming will serve as the group’s first unofficial release of the year.
Since the Unit’s reunion in 2014, we’ve seen 50 Cent bring us EP’s The Beauty of Independence in 2014 and The Beast Is G-Unit soon after – with their Terminate On Sight 2 LP still awaiting its public roll-out. While Whoo Kid wouldn’t confirm whether or not the material on L.F.D. will be from their time together two years ago, listeners can look for the mixtape in a few days.
Do remember to also look for the new Lloyd Banks mixtape, All or Nothing: Live It Up, since fans can’t seem to convince him release that Cold Corner 3 project.
