With a March sentencing on a tax evasion charge still on the horizon, a judge has sent DMX to prison for not obeying bail conditions. Judge Jed Rakoff said DMX was a genuine flight risk after failing a drug test that saw him test positive for cocaine, Oxycodone and opiates. Dark Man’s lawyer said X took the drugs to deal with the stress of his daughter being hospitalized from getting sick.
Prosecutors pushed the judge for him to be jailed and Rakoff granted it.
