Yonkers is paying homage to the late DMX with a mural. This morning, the community unveiled a mural near the Calcagno public housing complex School St. where X lived in the past. The mural is about 35ft by 22ft and was designed by NYC artist Floyd Simmons. It took over two weeks to finish.
The mural was apparently a restoration project on an existing mural but residents in the community asked for the restoration to have a tribute to DMX.
As you can see from the video, the mural includes lyrics from DMX songs from his catalog.
