You will not take this from me baby!
A few weeks ago, DMX raised some eyes, when he called Lloyd Banks a wack emcee, going out of his way to mock him. After that moment, X immediately took back those statements, when he saw backlash and overwhelming support for Banks. He then threw those comments at Tony Yayo, which the general public missed out.
X was really looking to get 50 Cent into the crossfire, after just disrespecting two of his long-time friends with G-Unit. Non-surprisingly, Kanan stayed away from the bait from DMX, and opted to not respond. However, this dates back to the mid-2000s, when G-Unit had their rap beef with The Lox.
Behind-the-scenes, X was adamant in jumping in the ring, which 50 and the rest of Queens got wind of those plans. This happened when Fifty said he would push Styles P album back and wasn’t going to be in the public eye with that happening.
This became very close to happening, but DMX got in more unfortunate legal trouble, and had to sit that one out. Cooler heads prevailed sometime later and a G-Unit vs. D-Block situation didn’t happen. But those close to X, knows that he always had a disdain for 50’s public comments about The Lox, as well as not being fond of Jay-Z.
