Following the successful iTunes release of his new album By Dom Kennedy, the Leimert Park rapper was still in his Los Angeles area to make a brief stop by Power 106. In a 20-minute interview with the L.A. Leakers, Dom Kennedy touched on being a role model to all kids – including his own. He also went to touch on his album cut “Lemonade,” which he didn’t expect fans to gravitate towards the track being one the more popular tracks from the LP.
With a new music visual for “2 Bad” on the way this summer, he also teased plans for a fall tour but wants fans to enjoy the album for now. Before things concluded, he revealed The Notorious B.I.G. being one of his biggest influences growing up and cited an instant attraction to his style his lyrics being something that was relatable to his everyday life.
