Shortly after Drake exited the stage at the very epic OVO Fest, he sat down with MTV to talk about his new single “Hold On, We’re Going Home.” During the interview, Drizzy spoke on the record not being in the rap category (something we’re not even mad about) because he was channeling his Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones vibe with producer Noah “40” Shebib on it. Interestingly, he wants it to be played at weddings.
We can’t even argue with him on that either. The record has that certain kind of bounce that would make us do a little two-step too at any elegant function.
Drake’s new album Nothing Was The Same drops on September 17.
