For his latest episode of his CRWN interview series Elliott Wilson sat down with none other than Drake. The two spoke on a number of different topics while on the NYU campus. During part one of the interview Drake and YN talked about Drake mixing in R&B and rap in his music and how he comes to put all that emotion into his music.
What would a rap interview be in 2013 without a question about Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” verse either? Drake played it rather cool saying that he thinks Dot had no ill will towards him with the verse and he hopes that Kendrick continues to grow as an artist. He did take a little jab though when he said asked Elliott is he was still listening to the verse now and if he could tell him how the verse starts.
