The Mad Decent Block Party went down in New York this past weekend and Boi-1da had his own set. But Drake has been in New York as well for his Summer Sixteen tour. During the producer’s time on stage, he surprised fans by bringing out Drizzy to perform tracks like “Jumpman,” “Energy” and “For Free.” The crowd was ecstatic and enjoyed Aubrey’s cameo.
As you may have heard, Drake has been involved in a war of words with Funkmaster Flex the past week, which started on the first night of his NYC stay, calling out Hot 97 to fire the DJ. Flex responded on the radio, giving backstories at how their feud came about and even revealed some things that people may not have known about the reference tracks, his infamous Blackberry freestyle and more.
Drake was at an after party in the tri-state and responded to Flex’s rant, not mentioning him by name, but throwing shots to a club crowd. Peep what he said below.
