When Drake made his Billboard Hot 100 debut in May 2009 with “Best I Ever Had,” he never imagined it would happen this way.
Thanks to Lil Yachty‘s new single “Oprah’s Bank Account” off Lil Boat 3, Drizzy has made his 208th appearance on the Hot 100 charts, surpassing GLEE. The song debuted at No. 89 with 10.5 million first-week streams in the U.S.
The next artist after GLEE is Lil Wayne, who has 168 entries.
It’s safe to say the 6 God will be in the record books for decades to come. It took him a little more than 10 years to complete this and there’s a lot of entries for others like JAY Z, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West and Chris Brown to catch up.
That new album from Drizzy is coming this year, right? He’ll shatter the record some more.
