Duke Dumont‘s EP1 might have gone under the radar in the United States, but with Mark Ronson on top of the charts, more light will be on the new reprise of “The Giver.” The original was featured in the latest effort from Duke, but now Ronson has put his twist on what is now a new single, stripping away the uptempo house element and giving it that feel-good two-step vibe “Uptown Funk” was drenched in. This sounds like something out of the early ’80s, though.
Let’s hope it catches some fire out here in the U.S.
