Eddie Murphy has been getting some flack for these reggae tracks he’s been teasing since last year. Although he’s not going back to Zion and leaving Babylon on “Wonna Deze Nites,” he invokes more soul for the hook and speeds up the tempo for something more fun and beach-y. Beenie Man cosigns things with his signature adlibs, completely switching up the track towards the end. Hopefully Eddie doesn’t give us another in-studio performance for the video (if one ever drops) and can actually cook up a proper video because at least one song deserves it.
