One of the more underrated projects we felt that never got enough recognition was Elli Ingram’s debut project being the Sober EP. The collection of tracks that even featured a cover to Kendrick Lamar and Drake’s popular hit “Poetic Justice” remained in our rotation for the better half of later 2013. The UK singer/songwriter has been out of the spotlight for a few months, but now she returns to share her latest music visual in the form of “When It Was Dark.”
The video looks to take place in Union Chapel, London which Eli takes us to church while repenting previous sins in the process over the smooth track. We’re hoping the new single which premiered at 1Xtra a few weeks ago means she has an official album coming soon.
