Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Common, John Legend & Gary Clark Jr. aren’t the only ones who have gotten a chance to perform at the White House in front of President Obama and the first lady. The UK has gotten some love as well, now that Emeli Sandé has hit the stage as part of the Carole King: Library of Congress Gershwin Prize of Performance.
In this clip, Emeli performs a beautiful rendition of the Aretha Franklin classic, “Natural Woman,” for those in attendance at the White House, in a special which aired on PBS last night. You can watch the hour-long episode here.
