The 2022 Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame nominees have been announced and the list of 17 acts for induction to this year’s class is stacked.
Among them are Eminem, A Tribe Called Quest, Rage Against the Machine, Beck, Duran Duran, Judas Priest, Dolly Parton, Pat Benatar, Devo, Fela Kuti, New York Dolls, MC5, Carly Simon, Lionel Richie, Kate Bush, Eurythmics and Dionne Warwick.
First time Rock Hall nominees include Beck, Eminem, Duran Duran, Lionel Richie, A Tribe Called Quest, Carly Simon and Dolly Parton, with Eminem being nominated in his first year of eligibility.
1000 artists, industry members and historians will determine those inducted into the 2022 class, but fans can also contribute to the selection by voting every day at vote.rockhall.com. Ultimately, five artists will be chosen to decide this year’s Rock Hall class.
The Rock and Roll Class of 2022 will be unveiled in May 2022. The ceremony itself has not been announced as of yet and neither has the location.
