Eric B. was recently jailed on a 17-year-old warrant and released after two weeks, The New York Times reports.
The one half legendary hip-hop duo Eric B. & Rakim was released from Bergen County Jail on Tuesday after being held there since October 28th. The bench warrant issued in 2002 for failure to appear in court for sentencing. Earlier that year, he pleaded guilty to assault.
Eric’s current attorney said that his former attorney told him that there was no need to appear in court.
