Erykah Badu Talks Solange, André 3000 and A Tribe Called Quest on Hot 97

Erykah Badu paid a visit to Hot 97 this week for an interview with Ebro and Peter Rosenberg. She talked about her early days as an emcee, loving Solange’s music, things she noticed after Donald Trump’s election, wanting new music from André 3000, being happy for A Tribe Called Quest’s final album and much more.

Speaking on working with D.R.A.M., she described him as “the love child of Ol’ Dirty Bastard, George Clinton and D’Angelo.” That’s some big praise.

Watch it all above.
