Erykah Badu is hard to pinpoint. Whether it’s through her music or in person. As random as she is, she went to Newark, NJ’s Malcolm X Shabazz High School while students were eating lunch and took the time to perform her 1997 single “On and On” for them. Badu was there in conjunction for the initiative the Future Project to surprise them. She even managed to steal some food from one of the students eating. Classic.
