This guy has been a comedian the past few weeks. He actually penned lyrics for the House of Cards theme song (he posted the lyrics on Twitter, but hasn’t recorded the tune), and spoofed Ryan Adams/Taylor Swift covers. That’s definitely the type of material we expect from him after his I Love You, Honeybear album, but considering the world was exposed to his name through Beyonce‘s LEMONADE album (“Hold Up”), some are probably waiting to hear what he’s got on deck musically.
“Real Love Baby” is a very indie tune that explores the yearning of wanting a type of real love, that a lot don’t currently share or have experienced. We’re not sure if this is from his upcoming album or not, but it’s a dope record that will get burn on this side.
