Off the bat before any songs even played, Q said his album was going to be dark and we definitely heard that tone throughout. Whether it was on the Wu-Tang inspired “Blind Threats” with Raekwon or the intro, “Gangsta,” which is reminiscent to that back alley Figg Side ski mask music we’ve heard from Q in the past before. A lot of the topics he sprinkled through out have a darker vibe to them too.
Don’t think Q is on some depressive shit, though. He’s got that gangsta shit on deck.
