The Foo Fighters‘ Sonic Highways series on HBO has been really interesting, especially because we get to see how the band interacts in each city and how they craft every song from their album. After talking to the people there, they cook up the song and perform it live from whatever studio they were in that day.
This past week, the band traveled to Nashville and were inspired with some country for “Congregation.” They recorded the track Zac Brown’s Southern Ground Studios and made references to city landmarks and things they learned there, much like all the songs from this album.
Sonic Highways is due out November 10!
