Three years ago, Los Angeles collective Odd Future finally gained notoriety highlighted by the acclaimed releases of Tyler, the Creator debut studio album Goblin and Frank Ocean’s debut mixtape, Nostalgia, Ultra. The unique collective has rose to fame internationally with sub-groups Earl-Wolf, MellowHype, the Internet and hardcore rock band Trash Talk among others. Reports surfaced today from Buzzfeed, the GRAMMY-Award winning Ocean informed the managers of O.F. Christian and Kelly Clancy of pursuing other opportunities in his career.
Along with going a different direction in management, Frank also fired his Life or Death PR team based in Brooklyn and Los Angeles to hire Hollywood ID PR. With the official follow-up to his well-receipted channel ORANGE album, Frank Ocean will be resuming his career oddly enough with a new manager to be named soon.
