With the VMA’s approaching soon, MTV adds to their performance line up, this time bringing Frank Ocean into the mix. The Odd Future crooner is nominated for three awards this year, including Best New Artist, Best Male Artist & Best Direction for his video “Swim Good”. Frank is also expected to perform material off his debut album channel ORANGE (“Pyramids”, perhaps?).
Frank Ocean is added to a performance list which now includes the likes of One Direction, Green Day, Taylor Swift, Pink, and newly added five-time VMA nominee Rihanna. Who know’s if they’ll be adding anymore to the night’s lineup.
The 2012 MTV Video Music Awards will be hosted by comedian Kevin Hart, and aired live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA September 6th at 8PM EST.
