Freddie Gibbs Explains Why There Will Never Be Another Tupac Shakur

Gangsta Gibbs explains the power 2pac had

In a recent interview with HipHopDX, mid-west rapper Freddie Gibbs addressed Tupac Shakur comparisons from fans and critics of his music content over the years. Although the B.F.K. is honored to be classified in the same category of the greats, he went to break down why there will never be another 2pac. After the bicoastal rapper passed away 20 years ago, he revealed seeing drug dealers and known street dudes who had never met Makaveli, openly crying after his death.

While some rhymers have a connection to the masses, he doesn’t think that a person will be able to recapture that same special bond 2pac had with his listeners – if GOD forbid they have an early passing. Watch more from the interview, where he talks new music and the E.S.G.N. movement.
