Larry King has been inviting a handful of rappers on his show recently and it’s always sort of funny to see him talking to them. It’s dope that the artists we listen make it to that type of platform, but it’s always interesting to hear try to understand certain topics.
French Montana is the latest rapper to go up to Larry King Now, and of course he was asked about Kanye West borrowing the “wave” from Max B and how he ended on The Life of Pablo. French also spoke on what could make rap be more accepted at places like The GRAMMYs, the Super Bowl and NBA All-Star Halftime show, mentioning that a rapper is going to have to get more creative and/or take it to new levels for it to get to that space.
The clip ends with Mr. Wave God saying Yeezy loves the controversy.
