With HBO’s new season of Lena Dunham’s Girls getting nearer (the second season of the TV show premieres January 13), another thing fans can look forward to is the soundtrack that will accompany, Girls – Volume 1: Music From The HBO Original Series. With appearances from Santigold, Sleigh Bells, Fleet Foxes and more, one of the more noteworthy tracks on there is the fun.’s “Sight Of The Sun.”
The track was originally recorded for Some Nights but after not being able to clear the sample, the band decided to re-work the chorus in Italy and ultimately give it to the HBO show for their OST. Listen to their newest track above.
