Inspired by Kanye West’s “Flashing Lights,” “Downtown Love” with John Michael Rouchell is loosely based on Edie Sedgwick, but told in a modern setting. It’s a story told through the darkness of a girl in love with the party life, who in return struggles to find herself as a person.
