It’s obviously been a Cruel Summer for the G.O.O.D. Music family as they’ve dominated the airwaves and nearly everyone’s playlist with countless hits over the past few months. Yesterday while at the 2012 BET Hip-Hop Awards, MTV caught up with Q-Tip to ask why he didn’t appear on the compilation album and he quickly brought in Pusha Ton to the camera and asked if he could spill the beans on the crew’s latest project and did so announcing “Cruel Winter.”
Cruel Summer’s only been in stores for two weeks, as we’re surprised by the announcement of a follow-up already that could potentially hit stores in a few months. Whether that happens or not remains to be seen but with Q-Tip penned in for the sequel, we’re definitely putting this at the top of our list for albums we want to hear the most. If the next album is anything close to Cruel Summer, we could possibly be in store for an even Crueler winter.
