Garren Sean impressed us as a producer before getting his solo career started, producing tracks for Chicago names like Chance The Rapper, Joey Purp and Towkio. Today, the Bay Area musician is sharing his debut album, simply titled GARREN, LP.
Garren may produce for rappers, but his solo work sounds closer to the likes of Ben Khan, Honne and Tuxedo than it does hip-hop. The 22-year old’s album features a funky 15 tracks, and includes the previously released “There She Go,” “Lift Off” and others.
