We’ve been rooting for George Maple for a few years now, since around the time she released her Vacant Space EP. Now, her debut album is finally ready for the world to hear.
Lover is made up of a mighty 20 tracks from the Sydney singer, which she describes as “a series of intimate events.” “This record is fragments and fractures pieces of my soul,” Maple says. “It’s an exploration of intimacy, the highs and the lows in all shades and colours.” There’s features from GoldLink, Rome Fortune, GrandeMarshall, What So Not and QTheMusic on the project, along with interludes by Sophie Debaere, Trevor Abbott and Alan Watts.
