One of this year’s biggest announcement in touring arrived from Kanye West a few months ago, who revealed that he would be building on the release of his sixth album Yeezus with an official stretch of dates. Not only that, but the prospect of more recent star Kendrick Lamar joining him added to the excitement, along with A Tribe Called Quest joining the line-up on a number of occasions.
The first date of the tour kicked off last night in Seattle, and as expected, it was extravagant as always. Known for his attention and detail to stage set-up, Kanye failed to disappoint with many layers of scenery and physical props to pursue on stage, which was met by an astounding 2-hour set that lasted roughly two hours. It would be rude to strictly call it a Yeezus tour per say, with much of his discography being performed for the big occasion.
