Dilated Peoples
Dilated Peoples have been doing their thing since the ’90s and the amount of people that come out to their shows is proof that they have one of the biggest underground followings in hip-hop. Evidence, Rakaa and DJ Babu decided to come together last year for Directors of Photography, their first album since 2006, which was also their first ever release on the Rhymesayers imprint. In a special sold out show at London’s XOYO, the trio performed music from each of the Dilated albums and solo material, and paid tribute to the late Sean Price to start the night. Classics like “Worst Comes To Worst” to “You Can’t Hide, You Can’t Run” were must sees from the set.
