Gucci Mane, Jeezy announce ‘VERZUZ’ battle, following TI wanting to battle a supposed bigger opponent. Over the past few weeks, many were under the assumption that Jeezy and TI would be battling, as a war of the Westside.
However, things changed this weekend, when the platform formally announced Gucci Mane would be replacing TIP. In weeks prior, Guwop stated that he would only join the platform if they gave him a full million.
Considering Gucci is the main one promoting the card, we’re assuming the bag must’ve been received. He even went as far as to send Jeezy the first jab during the event. In the past, these two have had unfortunate incidents that spilled into the streets, where people even lost their lives.
However, with both rappers transitioning to executives and becoming family men, we’re sure they’ve moved past any animosity to be able to go in the same room for this event.
