Gucci Mane to remain in prison until late 2016 after avoiding lengthy sentence.
Remember last holiday, when news surfaced Gucci Mane was facing up to 20 years in prison for federal gun charges? TMZ has learned the Atlanta rapper struck a plea deal this morning for a gun possession charge that will keep him behind bars until late 2016. La’Flare has been locked up since September and will officially be sentenced in July, where he will be rewarded 10 months credit in total time served before the court hearing.
The guilty plea for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon originally carried a maximum 10 years in jail, but he will only have to face 39 months in total and a fine of $250,000. The 34-year-old rapper is currently doing well now mentally and physically according to statements made his lawyer Drew Findling earlier this morning. Look for more details in the coming months to surface for the return of Radric Davis.
