Get ready for the return of La’Flare!

Last month, reports surfaced on Gucci Mane’s social media account that he would be returning home from the United States Penitentiary, Terre Haute, in March 2017. During August of 2015, the Atlanta rapper plead guilty to a federal firearms charge and was sentenced to three years behind bars, which a release date of March 2017 was originally set.

However, after filing documents to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Gucci will now be coming home this September – citing a miscalculation of time he already served since 2013. After a judge soon agreed to relook into the paperwork, the F.B.P. realized they made an error and updated inmate 65556-019’s public information on their official site.

Following the original sentencing, his 39 months behind bars will come to an end after being charged of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. We’ll keep you updated if any official news surfaces directly from Gucci’s camp or federal public records in the coming months.
