Gucci’s officially coming home December 2016!
Last spring, Gucci Mane pleaded guilty to illegal gun possession, stemming from a 2013 charge. The legendary ATL rapper was previously facing up to 20 years in federal time if found guilty, but he recently received some good news from a local judge. After serving a year of jail time, the 34-year-old rapper has been credited time and will now be released in December of 2016 – one year ahead of his original sentence.
Gucci was set to begin serving a 39-month sentence in August for a 2017 release, but will be returning soon to family and focus on his career again. He’s managed to stay active in the music world, with multiple releases throughout the year; and plans to have more full-length projects for listeners to continue throughout next year.
