We realize it’s April Fool’s but Hamburger Helper is not fucking around when they said they dropped a mixtape today. It is A-1 trolling, but not a joke. We were dying by the thought of the company getting in the rap game and were intrigued to listen, especially with a song on there called “In Love With The Glove.” If that’s not funny, we don’t know what is.
Then we pressed play on the project and the first song was going hard. We didn’t know what to think. The lyrics are pure comedy. But not every track is the same.
There’s a little bit of Post Malone, mixed with Migos, a spoonful of “real hip-hop” and everything in between. Fuck around and it might get you motivated to be in the kitchen or even better for them, go buy a box of their product and make it for dinner tonight. At the least, we’re all talking about it and brought awareness to their brand.
