The Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, may have passed but her music and legacy will live forever. She touched so many lives across the span of her life and H.E.R. was just one of them. Today, the songstress pays tribute to Mrs. Franklin by flipping her classic 1972 single “Day Dreaming,” slowing things down and making the record her own. The happy and soulful melody and sound of the original is stripped for a more somber vibe, but it still works.
