Thanks to the success of last year’s albums and subsequently, her I Used to Know Her: The Prelude EP, H.E.R is a favorite in the R&B scene. So much that ELLE invited her to play a game of Song Association, where she had to sing songs with words they threw at her.
And what do you know? She knocked them all out of the park.
They should make it a rule that you can’t sing your own song (because that’s too easy), though. Either way, she got all of them and didn’t have to use many of her own songs to do it. She brought back some old school cuts too.
