Only a few months after KanJay’s Watch The Throne album dropped, Florence decided to perform Otis Redding’s “Try A Little Tenderness” at a taping for MTV Unplugged. Coincidentally or not, Mr. West happened to be sitting with Q-Tip in the front row, witnessing the topical pop-culture nod first hand.
