Hit-Boy’s Message to the Music Game Referencing Kendrick Lamar Should Not Be Ignored

Hit-Boy, Kendrick Lamar Message to the Music Game

RELATED: Big Sean & Hit-Boy – What A Life

Hit-Boy, Kendrick Lamar message to the music game sheds light on several underwhelming albums that have been plaguing our ears this year. As we’ve said on numerous occasions, the best rap album this year is King’s Disease II from Nas and Hit-Boy.

In recent weeks, we’ve seen the southern California native linking up with Big Sean and Dom Kennedy for singles this fall. As we expect Hit to land numerous GRAMMYs in a few months, he took to the gram this week to share a message.

This was a direct message at the entire music game, which has been diluted with various artists all chasing the same stagnant sound. T-Pain referenced this over the summer, which turned a lot of heads, including Hit explaining how the art he’s creating isn’t just to hit the charts.

Instead, he’s making longevity content, which we’ve already seen so far with his content from year’s past with Jay-Z and Kendrick Lamar in the video below.

Ultimately, we wish everyone in music still had this same mindset with making content that didn’t sound like everything that was out, which would generate more attention to projects under-performing on the charts.

Take a look at Hit-Boy talking below.
