In the words of Nas, it was written. Easily two of Chicago’s most prominent artists in terms of wordplay, production and soul, it was only a matter of time before Kanye and R. Kelly jumped on a track together. Why it took so long? We’re not too sure, but the open to Cruel Summer certainly set the bar high for the rest of the project to live up to. Whether it did or not, we’ll leave that to you.
